Hello, I'm Jack Harrington,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn a little about Raytheon Virtual Technology Corporation (Raytheon VTC) and our industry.

More than ever, it is important to recognize the tremendous advantage that advanced technologies provide the United States and our Allies in the Global War On Terror (GWOT). The phenomenal capabilities of our Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems; the precision of our weapons systems; and the unmatched training and professionalism of our troops is made possible, in part, by the promotion, optimization, and integration of these advanced technologies within the DoD acquisition process.

When we founded Raytheon VTC, it was with the belief that we could make a difference to the warfighter by supporting the interoperability of distributed simulation and C4ISR systems. Today we are excited to say we do this across the Services and Joint community, engaging our expertise in Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) simulation and C4ISR systems to make a difference for our troops and our Coalition partners. What we once thought was a great idea is now a reality, with Raytheon VTC personnel on the ground in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and other theatres, supporting critical C4ISR systems. Our people are also leading the interoperability charge in the application and development of distributed simulation technology and are working many of the most pivotal programs in the DoD.

We attribute this success to our dedication to making a difference by "doing it right". For every program we work, every customer we serve, we are driven by core values I would like to share with you:

  • We try to do something great for our customers every day: Every day is an opportunity to make a difference, solve a problem, or provide pivotal guidance.
  • We are fast learners: We focus on understanding and analyzing our customer's problem, researching the solutions, and getting experts involved from inside and/or outside the organization to learn fast and take action.
  • We seek out the hard problems and provide real solutions: We have a driving passion for solving really hard problems and providing useful and practical solutions that contribute to our industry. When our customers are faced with new and emerging challenges, we want them to say: "Call Raytheon VTC. I know they can solve this problem!"
  • We do the right thing: We demand honesty and moral integrity in all our endeavors. From our leadership team to our clerical office workers, we ensure all Raytheon VTC employees act ethically and with the utmost diligence in supporting our responsibilities to our customers, partners, other employees, the and community at large. In doing so, we build an environment of trust and engender long-term mutually rewarding relationships in all our associations.
  • We work together to win together: The best way to succeed is to help others succeed. We strive to create an environment for every individual at Raytheon VTC to succeed, because we truly believe that is how Raytheon VTC will achieve success. Our people genuinely care for the success of the company, because we all believe in winning together and sharing the rewards of long-term growth and success.

We've come a long way since opening our doors in 1994. I am proud of the fact that we continue to be directed by those core values as we grow, and I am particularly proud of how Raytheon VTC has enabled our customers' success and, as a result, built long-term relationships with our Government and industry customers. We see every day as an opportunity to achieve the promise of simulation, saving lives and saving money for the warfighter.

Thanks again for visiting us.

Sincerely,

Jack Harrington
